It is definitely not every day that you meet a couple like Katrina and Phil or that you get to capture memories on one of the most important days of their lives either. Getting to do both was truly an amazing experience for me. They kept everything so real and true to themselves on their wedding day and just wanted to enjoy every minute without taking anything overboard. I was able to be the fly on the wall for pretty much 98% of the day and that is when I am truly in my element. I appreciated that they just let me be me with my own vision of them, nothing too posed, nothing forced. It was lovely and they are beyond lovely! The way they look at each other, talk, and embrace -- it was so beautiful to see and photograph. True love and true kindred spirits that are such a gift to one another and the world! Having photographed Katrina's sister's wedding day as well, now having met her family twice (and now Phil's as well), I can honestly say that I realize now why the word adorable exists -- because cute just wouldn't cut it for these guys. I could not be more excited to share some photos from their day and am looking forward to editing the many more!
