westchester ny family + newborn portraits

When I heard Jamie + Matt (of last year's amazing NYC bakery wedding I had the pleasure of photographing) had just had a baby and wanted me to come over and take pictures of her, I was over the moon excited. At only one month old, Sadie already had eyes open most of the shoot and didn't complain at all (only yawned and snoozed here and there)! It was such a pleasure to work with Jamie + Matt again and especially to meet their baby girl before she embarks on the crazy journey of growth!

hoboken nj engagement portraits of megan + jake

Getting down to Hoboken on the day of my portrait session with Megan + Jake was quite the crazy and intense experience but once there, getting to spend the evening with them made up for all of it. I had only met them once before but I instantly felt like we were old friends. They are so genuine, funny, kind and the way they make each other laugh is such a joy to be around. I especially loved that we took a stroll down to a restaurant (Bin 14) that had really amazing memories attached to it and that was really the whole session -- sentimental locations that felt true to their personalities and relationship. Getting to know them better before their wedding next year was an added bonus and I could not be more excited to see their vision come to life while having the honor of being the one to capture it. So excited!

Ah, such a big congratulations to Megan + Jake!!

ashokan dreams catskills ny wedding of becky + chris

Becky + Chris had such a beautiful wedding in the Catskills at Ashokan Dreams and where do I begin with how many details just filled my heart with joy? She wore a vintage 1960s wedding dress and veil that was her mother's as well as a necklace with his baby picture in it and with yellows, oranges + greens dancing around everywhere in their handmade decor, the natural Fall surrounding was perfectly matched. Lavender and Craspedia Billy Ball flower arrangements were made by their hands, and their ceremony was infused with music, involvement from the family peering on and so much uniqueness, I have to admit to photographing with teared up eyes at several points. When I am working with two stunningly gorgeous human beings (inside + out) as well as gorgeous details that they have put into their celebration not to mention friends and family who are equally as beautiful and are having one of the best times of their lives -- how could I not love my job? So excited to share this little sneak peek!

Such a big congratulations to Becky + Chris!!
