south street seaport engagement portraits of audrey + karl

I honestly just love everything about Audrey + Karl and they are just out-of-this-world amazing people. Besides the incredible fact that they are both in the military and protect this country, they are just the kindest of souls who have sacrificed seeing each other in person on a daily basis for years but still manage to hold everything they have together with such grace. Having planned their NYC wedding (coming up this weekend!) from afar, they arrived to the city this week and were just so easy-going about everything perhaps not going as planned. Just amazing! Their engagement portrait session with me was just yesterday, and with their lightness + laid-back loveliness, I don't think anyone would ever guess that their wedding was a mere 3 days away! And we just had such fun together. Their love was such a joy to photograph (her laugh + smile just absolutely contagious!) and I felt it was only fitting to post some photographs from our shoot before their wedding day this Sunday. I am just incredibly honored to be the one to capture everything! Can't wait!

my mini moo cards

As I offer a little free goodie with my wedding photography services that I simply call "mini MOO cards", couples are always wondering exactly what these little treats are. So, without further adieu, I think it's about time to shine some light on them! They are made by my favorite paper company (I use them for all paper products from my business cards to extras like thank you cards/postcards) called MOO and they measure in at the sweet size of 1" x 2.75". When my wedding clients choose to have engagement portraits, I create these cards for the wedding day with an assortment of their own pretty pre-wedding pictures + on the back reads a note: "in two weeks you can see what I see @ beimagedblog.com". I always commit myself to posting a sneak peek collection of your wedding photographs within two weeks of your big day so these cards provide some direction to your friends + family who just can't wait to see the photos and to relive the day. And those are my mini MOO cards - just simple and sweet and super petite.
