L + M had an incredibly intimate May wedding ceremony in Prospect Park across from The Boathouse and we had the privilege of capturing it! Natalie was there to photograph the romantic and laid-back nuptials and precious moments that followed and here I am getting to edit all of her gorgeous pictures -- I feel lucky indeed! The two beamed with happiness and love and here are some of the lovely details of their day!

tarrytown ny engagement portraits of jen + doug

From the moment that I talked to them over the phone and especially after meeting them for the first time the day of their engagement portraits, I felt complete adoration for Jen + Doug. They are so incredibly kind, funny, and laid-back and they have insanely contagious smiles! They have been planning their Westchester wedding from Seattle where they live, and I just couldn't have had more fun finally getting to meet them in person and to get to know them better. They braved the crazy winds next to the Hudson River for their shoot at Losee Park in Tarrytown NY, grabbed some gelato + hot chocolate, and just had fun with it! I couldn't have asked for a more enjoyable day getting to take their pictures, and I cannot wait for their Kittle House wedding next month!!
