hoboken nj engagement portraits of megan + jake

Getting down to Hoboken on the day of my portrait session with Megan + Jake was quite the crazy and intense experience but once there, getting to spend the evening with them made up for all of it. I had only met them once before but I instantly felt like we were old friends. They are so genuine, funny, kind and the way they make each other laugh is such a joy to be around. I especially loved that we took a stroll down to a restaurant (Bin 14) that had really amazing memories attached to it and that was really the whole session -- sentimental locations that felt true to their personalities and relationship. Getting to know them better before their wedding next year was an added bonus and I could not be more excited to see their vision come to life while having the honor of being the one to capture it. So excited!

washington crossing state park engagement portraits of kelly + dave

Kelly + Dave chose such an awesome and personal location for their engagement portraits -- Washington Crossing State Park just a short bridge walk away from their October 2013 wedding location! I loved exploring the park with them and getting to know them better and it was just such a beautiful + perfect day for walking around a historical setting, snapping photographs of two amazingly sweet and genuine people who are so in love! I especially loved the awesome and unique signs that his mom made for them to hold up in some of their photos with their wedding date and I just loved it all!

nyc family portraits of jenny, matt + baby dylan

I just absolutely adore Jenny + Matt (+ have since I photographed their wedding back in December 2011) and was so happy to finally meet little baby Dylan who I naturally adore as well! Seriously just look at how cute his little 3-month old face is! He may not have really smiled for me but he certainly was a content and sometimes blissfully sleepy little babe during our portrait session. I just feel lucky to have worked with such an amazing couple on two special occasions and especially lucky to have met this sweet little guy in the beginning days of his life!
