westchester ny family + newborn portraits

When I heard Jamie + Matt (of last year's amazing NYC bakery wedding I had the pleasure of photographing) had just had a baby and wanted me to come over and take pictures of her, I was over the moon excited. At only one month old, Sadie already had eyes open most of the shoot and didn't complain at all (only yawned and snoozed here and there)! It was such a pleasure to work with Jamie + Matt again and especially to meet their baby girl before she embarks on the crazy journey of growth!

Before the snow completely dissipates (which I cannot wait for but that is another story), I wanted to share the adorable snowy NJ family portrait session I had with Matt + Shannon and their ridiculously cute little girl Emilia! I absolutely love working with couples whose wedding I photographed and getting to see their lives/families grow and expand. It is a humbling experience being able to capture it and be a part of that. Life moves so fast yet so much happens all the while. It especially melted my heart when little Emilia just sat right down in the snow and assumed what appeared to be the most comfortable seat ever. She just had no complaints. I loved getting to reconnect with this family and getting to meet such a special little child!

Here's to hoping I get to see of three of them soon (but no pressure to expand again!)

caramoor katonah ny wedding of gati + andrew

It rained as though it had never rained before on September 8th but the weather did not put any kind of damper on the beautiful wedding day of Gati + Andrew. They were married at the beautiful Caramoor in Katonah NY and had lovely Hindu elements incorporated into the day. Everything about their wedding day was vibrant, joyous, and just downright sweet. I loved it all and my team and I were all so grateful to be a part of it!
