featured in the journal news

As a portrait photographer of Westchester New York, I was honored to be featured in a recent Sunday (awesome) article of The Journal News all about modern-day family portrait photography having that something special. I was delighted to see my information in the article as well as a photograph of Doug and Brandon, father and son whom I photographed last month.

And since these two live nearby, I bumped into two and a half year old Brandon yesterday to get his reaction to the article:

looking pretty happy to have his picture in the paper

going green

It is something I have always wanted to do -- to become a truly "green" wedding and event photographer. I care about everyone and everything around me, so it only makes sense to make every effort I can to keep my photography business as eco-friendly as possible. I am now a proud approved vendor on The Green Bride Guide and besides taking every step I can to make my business more green, I am looking towards obtaining certification as well.

Inspired by the earth today, I took some pictures outside of my home office. And I used my recycled old-school manual Nikon 50mm f/1.8 lens to do it.

To find out more about my "green"-ness, you can take a look at My Story section of my website.

arizona part one

My fiance Dave and I recently took a trip out to Arizona to visit family and have our own engagement portraits taken, and what we left with was an experience like no other. I have so many photographs to share that I do not even know where to start, but here is a sneak peek.

The above two photographs were taken at the entrance of my aunt and uncle's 43 acres of amazing land. Many more photographs to come of the beautiful home that they have built out in White Mountain Lakes, Arizona and all of the beauty of the sunny state.
